Trustees wanted
Recruiting now: Trustees
We are seeking new trustees to join our friendly board and guide our next chapter.
We particularly welcome applications from people who:
who have lived experience of the issues we work on
who are strategic thinkers with a hopeful, change-oriented mindset
have knowledge from paid or voluntary work in relevant sectors (human rights, migration/refugee support, anti-slavery/trafficking, media, legal/justice, UK and international human rights)
can offer skills in areas such as income generation, trauma-informed practice, equity, diversity & inclusion, anti-racism, clinical governance, HR, or organisational development.
Why join?
Influence strategy, strengthen collective efforts, and work with a friendly, small team committed to trauma-informed principles. All reasonable expenses for board meetings are covered. The board meets online four times a year, usually from 6.30 - 8 pm in the evening.
Find out more about how to apply here. The deadline is 22nd May 2026.
Accessibility
We encourage applications from people who are disabled and people with lived experience of the issues we work on. We also recognise the barriers that have traditionally stopped some people from getting involved with boards.
Whilst this is an unpaid post, we will cover expenses such as travel and data costs that you may incur as a board member. We will also work with you to make this recruitment process as accessible as possible.
Interns and volunteers
We’d also love to hear from you if you’re interested in interning or volunteering with us. Complete the form below to register your interest.
