Trauma Treatment International welcomes Sarah Cutler as new CEO

Trauma Treatment International (TTI) is delighted to announce Sarah Cutler as its new Chief Executive Officer, starting this November.

Sarah brings over 15 years of leadership in the non-profit and migration sectors, with a strong track record in human rights and social justice. She joins TTI from her role as Co-Director at Migration Exchange, where she has supported charities and rights defenders facing racism and increasing threats, and mobilised funding to support collaboration.

Her previous experience includes senior roles at Refugee Council, Bail for Immigration Detainees, and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons, alongside UK and international consulting work supporting collaboration and organisational strategy in philanthropy and charities.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to justice and dignity, Sarah says: “I am honoured to be joining TTI to build on the great work of current CEO Quen Geuter and the team, helping people move on from the pain of trauma and protecting human rights defenders.

In a polarised world, there is a clear need for TTI to continue to grow its reach. By bringing together communities and specialist, evidence-based psychological support, we can strengthen our stand against collective violence and bring hope and healing."

TTI Chair Andrea Thompson adds: “We are so excited to welcome Sarah on board for the next stage of our development as a charity. Sarah brings not only passion for social justice but also incredible leadership and business development skills. She has the perfect mix of experience and talents to help us achieve our strategic vision.”

The current CEO Quen Geuter will join the board of trustees from December 2025.
