For one London-based charity, taking up a package of organisational and one-to-one support from Trauma Treatment International (TTI) was a “no brainer”. And now, Hope for the Young (HftY) says the partnership has given its team a real morale boost.
Since I joined Trauma Treatment International in November, war and conflict has again risen globally with the US and Israeli war on Lebanon and Iran. Our thoughts are with all those experiencing destruction and displacement wherever it is happening.
“We can’t underestimate the effect that trauma has on people who have experienced homelessness. Even spending one night on the street is traumatic.”
Trauma Treatment International is proud to have supported the charity Women for Refugee Women (WRW) in ground-breaking research led by people with lived experience of the UK asylum system.
It’s Time to Talk Day, an annual event which urges us all to come together, talk about our wellbeing and reduce the stigma of being too open about our mental health.
