Trauma specialist Dr Zoe Given-Wilson joins TTI as Clinical and Quality Lead

Trauma Treatment International has welcomed Dr Zoe Given-Wilson as our new Clinical and Quality Lead.

Zoe, who was an associate clinical psychologist at TTI prior to her appointment, will now oversee the delivery of our clinical operations, projects and strategic priorities.

Her role also entails supporting the development of our associate pool of clinical and counselling psychologists, promoting evidence-based practice, and holding her own client caseload.

Zoe brings with her extensive experience, having worked with organisations including the UNHCR, European Union Agency for Asylum and the UK Home Office to develop training and inform policy and practice. Her work has included implementing organisational change to achieve trauma-informed practices and using best evidence frameworks for interviewing asylum seekers.

Of her new role as our Clinical and Quality Lead she says: “I am so excited to join TTI. The organisation holds high standards in providing quality psychological treatment to individuals and systems affected by collective violence.

“Trauma has huge ripple effects, and left unaddressed can detrimentally impact the health of individuals, communities and systems. Working directly to address this with the best evidence-based practices is key to improving well-being, preventing violations of human rights, building resilience and changing the narrative.”

She adds: “My hope is to build on the strong foundations of TTI to grow our clinical provision. This will mean that we can reach more individuals and communities across the globe affected by collective violence and trauma, who may not currently have access to trauma-informed and evidence-based support.”

Trauma Treatment International CEO Sarah Cutler says she is delighted to welcome Zoe to the organisation. “Her expertise, track record and approach bring a huge amount to the work of our charity,” she says. “As we grow our partnerships and impact in 2026, I'm really looking forward to Zoe being part of the team."
